Scally Rally 14 September
We're off on a Scally Rally next week Thursday 14th September- it's
the ultimate driving challenge across Europe - 4 days, 1600 miles,
5 countries - and all that in a car costing less than £100!!
We've got a Peugeot 406 LX just about to go round the clock for
a second time.
We are Car 62 - 'Nine Stone Cowboy' -(Copey and Mark)
and we're hoping to raise lots of money for charity, and looking
to to fo some spur
of the moment gigs en-route. Some of you have already very kindly
sponsored us but, if you haven't already done so, please sponsor
us via the following websites. Or please forward an e-mail to anyone
you think may be generous enough to sponsor us.
One of our chosen charities is The Miriam Hyman Memorial Fund (www.miriam-hyman.com).
Miriam was tragically killed in the London bombings of 7th July
2005 at the age of 32 and this fund was set up within the charity
ORBIS
UK, whose aim is to prevent avoidable blindness globally and
to treat reversible eye conditions, especially in developing countries.
Please
sponsor us at: http://www.orbis.org.uk/bins/fund_page.asp?cid=9-500-3881?=1
Our other charity is the Oxford children's hospice, Helen House.
